Reissued after originally being on the Transgresive record label last year this is an insane slice of hoe-down pop which wouldn’t sound amiss at your local barn dance. Like Pete Docherty fronting the Pogues after he’s taken his medication... its addictive.

Second single from Goth boys The Horrors sees the sub-Cramps noise continue. These guys are becoming revered for their short live sets and so Rock N Roll image but judging by their pictures on the back sleeve, as my dad used to say, they could do with a good haircut and a spell in the army!

Such a long name for a solo artist but if your name is Tarquin Smithers I guess its a good career move (I made that bit up by the way). Pleasant enough wordy, rambling, teen angst poetry in a Bright Eyes kinda way. A few too many Ba Ba Ba’s for my liking...
